Okay, well here's the skinny: I've had three women who wrote simple intros such as, "Hi, how's it going? " Mind you, no immediate sparks when I look at their photos, but enough evidence to warrant a reply and who knows.. tell her one awesome thing and then ask her a question. Maybe, but in the real world when you just meet someone, it's not that uncommon of a question.
Lots of the ladies on these sites scared to ...might help.:)your pics made my eyeballs feel nice :) thanks.. I say just about everything I could think of about myself in my profile. I'm not sure as to why no response, unless you don't ask any questions back.
Plentyoffish dating forums are a place to meet singles and get dating advice or share dating experiences etc.
Hopefully you will all have fun meeting singles and try out this online dating thing... tell ME a little bit about yourself." But I don't reply that way.
So that's what I do - in so many words I ask them what their reason for writing is.
If I were you I'd add one or two things that aren't in your profile then ask a question. She found out that you're a "nice guy" and that's it.Some people really suck at email conversations and a question helps. If she was interested, she'd want to chat or call on the phone, or go on a date. She decided to give you a chance in case you had some hidden treasure that you wanted to share."Tell me about yourself" = "What can you offer me to make dating worth my time?"Well....there ain't much other than money and free housing that can get interest from someone who's just looking for a payoff.Could be a few days worth of reading but I bet they won't ask that question again Holycow your hilarious!I agree my old eyes feel better already, so I thank you too Turtle.
